I'm Amanda. I am a holistic, trauma-informed Therapist and Coach supporting adults in healing from trauma, mothers who want to feel more fulfilled and people who want to feel more embodied and connected to themselves.
Healing is not one-size-fits-all approach. I beleive we contain the wisdom to live a life aligned with who we want to be, not who we had to be in the past to survive.

My approach includes:

Using the intelligence of the individual nervous system (Polyvagal Theory) to make sense of your patterns of survival and how those adaptations developed so that we understand how to move forward in a way that makes you feel safe, connected and can expand your capacity.

Parts-work (Internal Family Systems) to support you in transforming shame for these protective behaviors into self compassion and start feeling unstuck and unburdened by the patterns no longer serving you.

Somatic (body based regulation) because we respect how trauma and experiences are not just in the mind, but stored in the body.

Trauma-Informed Care. Above all, I am a trauma-informed and trained professional, which means no matter the approach, we take it collaboratively and with safety at the forefront. Feeling discomfort in therapy is okay, feeling like you're drowning and leaving the session worse than you started it, is not. We build the internal and external resources necessary to process and integrate past traumatic experiences.

Our life experiences, whether perceived as big or small, shape our patterns in beliefs, responses, self-worth, relationships and more. Together, we peel back the layers to move shame towards the self compassion necessary to step out of survival mode and live authentically.
